“God is Dead, Now Man is Free” says Nietzsche, but Zen and Meditation are Needed
In “God is Dead” Osho recognizes Nietzsche’s statement. But next to this: Zen and Meditation are needed
According to Nietzsche’s opinion man could not be free as long the existence of God is recognized.
Indeed, if you see God as your creator, it implies that he can uncreate you any minute too.
That is the basic UN-FREEDOM of Man in the assumption of a God.
Zen has No God. It has however a tremendous power to transform our consciousness, to bring much awareness in our lives.
The growth of awareness can become so much, that to commit evil becomes almost impossible, anyway it becomes unconceivable to do any harm.

Osho Explains that by transformation in 3 steps we can disappear into the Buddha which is deep inside any
human being.
Osho’s Existential Philosophy Against the Negative Existentialism of the West
Osho declares:
“Now there is nowhere to go. You become one with existence itself.
That’s why I call my philosophy more authentically existential than the negative philosophies of the West. I am trying to bring the West and the East together.
My whole effort is to make man richer, outward and inward, in a tremendous balance. This balance is Zen.
And remember: God is dead, and now Zen is the only living truth. You are the pioneers of a new age, of a new man, of a new humanity!
Before Nivedano calls you back, persuade the buddha because this is the fundamental step. He has to become your shadow.”
